| This series is closed-captioned for syndication (209 Digital package only) and is mono. This series has Latin American Spanish tracks for network. This series has been partially transferred into HD beginning and has the following masters: Network 4x3 HD (all seasons are in HD, 283 episodes total.) Syndication 4x3 HD (22 episodes, #6801 - #6822 only. 41:00 runtime) *Though the entire series has been transferred into HD, the syndication versions are still in standard def and separated into the Digital and Non-digital packages. Please see notes below for details. | |||||||||||||||
| Note: The complete Hawaii Five-O package currently contains 283 episodes. In the fall of 1981, Viacom had previously sold a package of 200 episodes on 16mm film. In Fall 1988, Viacom sold an additional 82 episodes, "New Hawaii Five-O", and a combined package of 282 episodes with both sets of episodes combined and presented in their proper order by airdate. Beginning in September 1997, Hawaii Five-O was repackaged as a single group of 175 episodes; 174 culled from the original 282, plus 1 episode that was previously unavailable (one other episode, 6916 ""Bored, She Hung Herself"", remains unavailable.) These 175 episodes (referred to as Hawaii Five-O 175 Digital) have been digitally re-mastered. The remaining 108 episodes were also available, but they have not been re-mastered. Effective July 2005, 34 additional episodes were digitally re-mastered and edited for syndication. This changed the totals to 209 Digital and 74 non-digital. | |||||||||||||||
| Included in this section are three title lists. The first is a complete listing of all Hawaii Five-O episodes. Episodes that are part of the 209-Digital package are in bold. Episodes that have not been re-mastered are un-bolded. Episodes from the ""old"" New Hawaii Five-O package are marked as ""NewH5O"" and highlighted yellow. This notation refers to pre-existing deals only and has no bearing on the new packages being sold as of September 1997. Please note that episode 6822 (""Six Kilos"") is only available in the re-packaged Hawaii Five-O; it is not available for pre-existing deals. | |||||||||||||||
| The second title list includes only the 209-digital episodes. The third title list includes only the 74 episodes that have not been re-mastered. | |||||||||||||||
| Eleven two-hour episodes were produced for this series, either as two-parters or as two-hour ""movies of the week."" All of these are available in syndication edited both as movies and as two-part, one-hour episodes. | |||||||||||||||
| The numbering system for Hawaii Five-O is based on original airdates and is rather complicated. Those that were originally produced in two parts have two separate episode numbers but share a common title (e.g.: 6824 COCOON PART 1 and 6825 COCOON PART 2); the feature versions of these episodes are listed by title and have no episode numbers (e.g.: HAWAII FIVE-O COCOON.) Those originally produced as features have only one episode number, broken into parts 1 and 2 for the one-hour versions (e.g.: 7601-1 NINE DRAGONS PART 1 and 7601-2 NINE DRAGONS PART 2); the feature versions of these episodes are listed by the original episode number (e.g., 7601 NINE DRAGONS.) | |||||||||||||||
| FEATURES | Two-hour feature. All Hawaii Five-O features are also available as two-part, one-hour episodes. All features have been digitally re-mastered effective September 1997. | ||||||||||||||
